Mr. Pop History – It all began with the new $100 bill back in September of 1995. That’s when we saw a larger Ben Franklin, a new-fangled watermark that duplicated his pic, plus a security thread and other features that were supposed to make it harder to duplicate.

New designs for the $50, $10, $5 and $1 bill that resembled the same type of architecture followed at the rate of one per year. So, the total currency facelift was completed by the end of the 1990′s. Hope that helps. hundred dollar bill
