Facebook Beats Google - Facebook topped Google to become the most visited U.S. Web site last week, indicating a shift in how Americans are searching for content. Web analysis firm Experian Hitwise said Monday that the social networking site surpassed Google to take the No. 1 spot for the week ended March 13. It shows content sharing has become a huge driving force online,” said Matt Tatham, director of media relations at Hitwise. “People want information from friends they trust, versus the the anonymity of a search engine.” Though the traffic levels were close, Facebook’s year-over-year growth far outpaced Google’s that week. The number of visitors to Facebook spiked 185% compared with the same period last year, while Google’s traffic climbed just 9%.
NBC Loves The Donald – NBC is bringing back the original Apprentice. The non-celebrity version of the reality show from executive producers Mark Burnett and Donald Trump will return for a sixth season with a revised format. When I was 12, I thought, ‘I want to be famous all the time! I want everybody to recognize me!’” But now, Miley — who began filming the fourth season, which will run until early 2011, in January — says she has “to grit my teeth” when she is forced to wear.

The DJ lineup is Scott Shannon mornings followed by Whitney Allen, Shadow Steele, Domino, Jimmy Page and Bubba the Love Monkey overnights. “Pirate Radio” was supposed to debut in April, but owner WestWood One wanted to catch everyone by surprise.
The so-called “Morning Zoo” comedy repertory that made Shannon’s Z-100 (New York) very popular in the morning. will not be used. Unlike Z-100, “Pirate Radio” will lean more rock. Besides, rival Power –106 and morning man Jay Thomas have “borrowed” the Morning Zoo to describe their show.

Saturday, October 4th, 2008 | Celebrity News, Hot Pop Culture | No Comments
Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky are one.
I can’t wait to marry Howard,“ she told Newsday before the ceremony at Manhattan’s tony Le Cirque restaurant, adding, „I know, everyone laughs!“
The bride wore a white chiffon gown with cutaway back and sides. Officiating at the ceremony was actor Mark Consuelos, Kelly Ripa’s husband and an ordained minister.
The 180 guests included Joan Rivers, Barbara Walters, Billy Joel, Steve Schirripa, Chevy Chase, Tommy Mottola, and Donald and Melania Trump.
They dined on tuna tataki, scrambled eggs with white truffles and striped bass with caviar – washed down with wine and champagne. Songwriter Phoebe Snow serenaded the newlyweds with „You Send Me,“ and Joel crooned „The Stranger.“
„It’s a nice feeling that we get along great,“ he said in 2006. „We’re very happy, and I don’t want to (blank) it up.“
Stern told listeners he surprised Ostrosky with an engagement ring in February 2007 – while they were naked in bed.
During his first marriage, he boasted of his fidelity while hosting strippers and porn stars on his show.
Stern and his wife of 21 years, Alison Berns, had three daughters before divorcing in 2001. Their romance inspired his film „Private Parts.“
