From Nick P – Mr. Pop, last week you mentioned sports guy Brent Musberger was once a news anchor? That’s a nice piece of trivia.

Mr. Pop History – It is. He tried news anchoring but didn’t consider it nearly as challenging as doing a live sports broadcast. He soon went back to CBS sports (only). Here he is with Connie Chung, when both were co-anchoring at KNXT (channel 2) – The CBS station in Los Angeles. This was back in 1979. KNXT is now KCBS-TV.
