From Jake Z – After Led Zeppelin broke up, didn’t Jimmy Page immediately form a new rock band? What was the name and who were the members? Thank you.

Mr. Pop History – Zeppelin broke up after the death of drummer John Bonham n 1980.  It took a couple years, but Jimmy Page did form a new band consisting of Paul Rodgers (formerly with Bad Company), drummer Chris Slade and bassist/keyboardist Tony Franklyn. Name of the band was The Firm.
