From Kelly C – Mr. Pop – I remember a TV version of “USA Today,” but wasn’t there a TV version of “People” Magazine?

Mr. Pop History – These sound like great ideas – video take-off’s of print publications. “People” was the very first in a long line of failures in this genre. This was based on the brand new “People” magazine, which debuted about a year before. CBS-TV’s “People” debuted in September of 1975, but didn’t last long. Lovely Phyllis George was the hostess.
