January (1967) – Allen Klein, manager of the Rolling Stones charges that WMCA New York had refused to play the Stones record: “Let’s Spend The Night Together,” because of objectionable lyrics, but WMCA denies it. The station says it picked the flip side of the record, “Ruby Tuesday’ to be the hit and has been playing it for several weeks.
