From Lisa I – Didn’t movie superstar Tom Hanks guest on a “Family Ties” once? Was he between gigs as they say?

Mr. Pop History – Hanks at this time kept busy as all actors do, with anything he could get. In early 1983, he guested on the Michael J. Fox series as Elyse’s brother. This was after his comedy series “Bosom Buddies” left the building.
