Colonel Sanders

From Shannon A – With all this talk of the Sheraton and its jingle, I remember one from Kentucky Fried Chicken and their first “jingle” I guess you would call it. It was Col Sanders singing “You’ll have to visit me.” Do you remember?

Mr. Pop History – Yes, this would have been around the same time – 1970, but it wasn’t the good colonel singing the tune – even though “you’ll have to visit me” was so darn catchy. Here it is as a quickie, but a full commercial does show on Youtube. Here’s the very first Kentucky Fried Chicken “song.”
