"Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone"

From Robin Y – Mr. Pop – All five Harry Potter movies did well, but can you tell me – how well? Thank you.

Mr. Pop History – Here goes –
(2001) Sorcerer’s Stone did about $977 million
(2002) – Chamber of Secrets did about $880 million
(2004) – Prisoner of Azkabian did about $800 million
(2007) – Order of the Phoenix did about $940 million.

All in all – all five did about $4.5 billion. Now, considering that all movie ticket sales last year did $9 billion – that’s very impressive.

Also, if you look at each movie – you’ll notice a drop-off, until 2007. I find that interesting.
