Dean Martin Dies

Dean Martin Succumbs at Age 78

For more than 45 years, Dean Martin remained one of the most visible and admired of star performers. Yet no one, not even his wives and children, seems to have known him.

He was one of the greatest music artists that the past generation have ever known, and this generation to ever remember. Today, this very day, he should be remembered and honored!

He, until his last breath, brought a lot of inspiration to both fans, believers, co-artists, singers and even songwriters.

He was indeed the pop music icon!

This is basically a saddening memory, a death of someone we barely even know but had touched us in remarkable ways— his music. If you still haven’t known or heard of Dean Martin, then let me introduce him to you.

About Dean Martis

Actor, singer Dean Martin starred in several films with Jerry Lewis and belonged to the “Rat Pack,” which included Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr.

It is so sad that people only see the value of his songs when he died, it is so sad that he didn’t have much credits and appreciation when he is still alive, singing and kicking. But things are never too late!

The End of a Wonderful Journey

Martin, 78, died at 3:30 a.m. Christmas Day at his Beverly Hills home of acute respiratory failure, said his longtime manager, Mort Viner.

Martin first achieved fame in the late 1940s, when he paired up with a zany comic, Jerry Lewis. When the team broke up after their last film in 1956, Martin emerged as an actor in such movies as “The Young Lions,”Some Came Running,” “Rio Bravo,” “Bells are Ringing,” “Toys in the Attic” and “Airport.”

Moreover… his journey will be remembered more than anything else!
